Happy Holidays from the Vanessa Isaac Dance Company!

 During this incredible challenging year being able to connect with one another via movement has sustained us all.

 With our Patrons financial support over this past year our company:

·       Secured Studio Space for Rehearsals

·       Paid local dancers for their work

·       Covered the costs of Costumes for Dancers

·       Filmed two Dance Films

·       Invited Guest Teachers from Brazil to teach classes (video) for our database on our online studio

Although 2021 we saw the continuation of pandemic by the end of this year we are also feeling the first glimpses of normalcy coming back, for the arts organizations and artists this is encouraging. As an audience member I attended my first live performance this October. I am hopeful that 2022 is finally the year we take flight.

 I am looking to create and produce new works for 2022 as well as to hire dancers from Brazil to work with the company. I am also looking forward diverse collaborations with Santa Barbara organizations and beyond. As an educator I have already received invitation to return to Paris to teach a workshop and continue creating community there and new relationships that can benefit our work on the long run.

I want you to know that your generosity makes a big impact and all the difference in my life and in the lives of many. Your support, generosity and kindness is a light in the tunnel that feeds my creative spirit as well as bring practical sustenance to the vision of the company as we navigate this challenging new world we are living now.
